This is the racing swimwear technology from Speedo. Through extensive research Speedo has identified optimum positioning for the Turbulence Management System to minimize water drag during competition. This lightweight racing suit also features a unique 3D design and a fabric that is both light weight and water repellent.
It's seams are engineered to fallow the direction of the water flow to reduce drag. super stretch thread allows greater comfort and freedom of movement. It's engineered for performance: to fit like a second skin. Seams and fabrics are positioned to maximize the flow of water over the swimmer's body. Speedo Fastskin FS II uses two different fabrics, Fastskin and Flexskin - to accommodate different flow characteristics across the body and reduce drag through water up to 4% decrease in drag compare to the original Fastskin. The construction of the unique 3-D racing suit is anatomically fit with reinforced seams. This suit is widely used on the US Swim Team and the Canadian Swim Team.
